Pep Guardiola is on his way to claim a record fourth consecutive title with Manchester City. The Spaniard has won all but 3 of the League titles since taking charge of City in 2016. Many claim that the Cityzens have asserted a monopoly over the competition and that Guardiola is mainly responsible for the same.

While rival fans have started counting the days before Pep Guardiola leaves City, his most recent interview was a killer blow to them. The three-time UEFA Champions League winner proclaimed that he has no plans of going anywhere and that he’s going to continue at the club. His current contract keeps him at City at least until the summer of 2025.

Yes. I have a contract and I want to be here. My plan is to be here next season as well, yes or yes. Pep Guardiola said in a recent interview

Guardiola claimed that Sunday night’s game against West Ham United will not be an easy one and that they’ll have to fight to claim yet another Premier League title. City cannot afford to slip up as Arsenal have a higher goal difference, despite being two points behind.

Man City’s Phil Foden named Premier League Player of the Season

17 goals and 8 assists later, Manchester City‘s Phil Foden has been named as the Player of the Season in the Premier League. After coming to the rescue of his side on several occasions, fans of the player claimed that he was the most deserving of the award this season. With just one game left to play, it will be his crowning moment if City pick up a win versus West Ham.

Foden shared his excitement on social media as he thanked his teammates and staff at the club for helping him in the run-up to the awards. Within the space of one week, Foden was named the Premier League POTS as well as the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year. Rival fans however, weren’t impress with the same and claimed that Cole Palmer was more deserving of the same.

While Foden will take to the pitch on Sunday night, both City and Arsenal will have the opportunity to claim the Premier League title. A win for City will automatically hand them the title. However, if City draw against West Ham and Arsenal pick up the three points against Everton, the Gunners’ superior goal difference will hand them the title.
